Amanda J. List is a graduate of The University of California, Berkeley, Boalt Hall School of Law, and was admitted to the California Bar in 2002. She received the Prosser Prize in Estate Planning and Taxation in her 3rd year of law school, and was a member of the Berkeley Technology Law Journal, Boalt Business Law Society and the Commencement Committee. Ms. List is the former Chair of the Alameda County Bar Association Lawyer Referral Service Governing Committee. Ms. List is also a past member of the ACBA Family Law Executive Committee. In 2010 Ms. List was a presenter for an MCLE on the topic of Transgender Issues in the Family Court.
Ms. List received her B.A., magna cum laude in Broadcasting and Electronic Communication Arts from San Francisco State University in 1997. Ms. List was on the Dean's List, a member of the Golden Key National Honor Society, a member of the Phi Eta Sigma Honor Society, and recipient of the Achievement Award for Academic Excellence.
Ms. List has been practicing Family Law since 2004. In addition to her litigation practice, Ms. List also offers mediation services.
In her spare time Ms. List enjoys cooking and is a die-hard Indianapolis Colts fan. She has one child (Amani) and two cute dogs (Manning and Indiana).
